Hey Barbara,
Just wanted to let you know how your "Isacc" song and Jerry's sermon were
influential in bringing a husband to God. If you remember during the altar call
that night I prayed with Sissie, Mrs. Gentry's daughter. She was laying her
"Isacc", husband Bud, on the altar. She prayed for him for forty years. That
night at the altar she was able to leave in him in God's hands. I noticed a HUGE
change in her. She was at peace knowing that God was going to reach him.
Bud had cancer of the lungs. A couple of weeks later they placed him in the
Elizabeth House (a Hospice facility) and a young preacher from our church
witnessed to him on his dying bed and he accepted Christ as his Savior. Bud went
home to be with the Lord four days later. Needless to say, it continues to be so
hard for Sissie, but she has a hope now she has never had before.
See how God uses your pain to minister to others and even through your pain
people are brought into the kingdom.....Isn't is awesome????
I believe with all my heart....soon you're going to see your "Isacc" return from
the enemy's land...
I want to share this verse of scripture God gave to me about my children:
Jeremiah 31:16 - 17 -
"This is what the Lord says: "Restrain your voice from weeping and your eyes
from tears, for your work will be rewarded," They will return from the land of
the enemy. So there is hope for your future," "Your children will return to
their own land."
Look forward to seeing you in June......You are always surrounded by my love and
prayers......Shelia

To recommend Jerry and Barbara Roach is a privilege and pleasure. They were tremendous pastors of my home church in Camden, Tennessee. My folks lives were touched in many positive ways, the community was impacted in far-reaching ways, the church grew.
Jerry is a soul-winner who reaches the lost, a holiness preacher who builds the church, a Nazarene who will compliment any local ministry.
Barbara is a wonderful musician, singer, communicator who brings love, joy, and life to all who share her ministry.
This is a winning team that prays together, sings together, and beautifully and productively support each other in their individual endeavors. As they compliment each other, they also will compliment your local ministry. Those who choose to use them in revivals, camp meetings, concerts, retreats, pulpit supply, special services, will become a part of their winning tradition.

What a privilege to “talk about” a dear friend of mine, Barbara Roach.
I’m blessed to have known her for many years. Barbara is genuine! The person you hear in concert lives a private life of integrity and fellowship with her Lord. She is a devoted wife, a loving and exemplary mother, a recording artist with both vocal and instrumental ability, and a commissioned song evangelist in the Church of the Nazarene.
Barbara is a very talented lady who is completely sold out to God. She and Brother Jerry, her evangelist husband, have made a tremendous impact for the Kingdom of Heaven. Their journey has not always been easy but has been abundantly blessed. Perhaps the tough times in her life provide the impetus for her ability to empathetically move her audiences with Spirit-anointed words and music.
Barbara’s background in Southern Gospel music shows through every performance, giving the concert undeniable warmth. Her unpretentious lifestyle adds to the realistic value of her ministry. Any audience or congregation joining with Barbara for a concert or a couple of “special numbers” in a church service will conclude the experience much closer to God!

“Barbara’s vibrant personality, obvious love for her Lord, and beautiful voice all combine to make her an outstanding candidate for fulfilling any musical requirements needed. She ministers equally well to small or large gatherings and is sensitive to any special requests made by the speaker or others in positions of leadership.”

“Barbara Roach leads retreat participants in true worship as she prayerfully and creatively prepares for reach session, developing theme and music teams. This gifted woman not only leads and sings but she involves others - at our retreat, 14 churches and 22 ladies were represented in three teams. Her contagious spirit draws the women to enthusiastically lift their voices and hearts to the Lord, setting a Spirit-filled atmosphere for the speaker.”

What You hold in your hand is more than a great talent it is a miracle. Barbara's story would make a movie. I have known her for a long time and her voice is only part of it. She sings with a pathos that is born of a lot of pain. Earnest Hemingway said that, "One only writes well when they write the truth." The same can be said of singers or any performers. Her life bleeds with the pain of her life and explodes with the hope that has been born of a God that has transformed her mess into a miracle. Her voice is great, that goes without saying but the heart in it is the part that can't be explained. Barbara also likes to sing and tell her story and what God has taught her in all kinds of retreats. I pray many will use her. She is happily married to a Nazarene pastor that now travels with her. She is a Commissioned Nazarene Evangelist. I personally recommend her without reservation
